Find your way around the admin area

What this does — Explains the left-hand menu so you can find the screen you need. The menu is one long list with a few expandable groups; this article sorts those entries into plain-language buckets so you know where to look.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in to the admin area — see Log in to the admin area.
The menu, at a glance
The menu runs down the left side of every admin screen and stays with you as you work. Most entries open a screen directly. A few entries are expandable groups — shown with a + — that open a sub-list when you click them. The expandable groups are Products, Countries, Career Page, Infor Integrations, Quote Console, Diagnostics, and Syncing Helper.

The list is long. Here's what lives where, grouped by the kind of work:
Website content
Everything visitors read or see on the marketing pages: About us · Applications · Approvals · Branches · Brochures · Career Page (Hero Images, Job Postings, Testimonials) · Contact Cards · Designers · Diagrams · Homepage · Industries · Industry Icons · Innovations · Logos · News · Powerpoints · Regions · Resources Forms · Resources General · Shapes · Showcases · Social Media · Specifier Types · Testimonials · Where to Buy page.
Product catalog & configurator
The products and the options customers pick from: Products · Main Categories · Subcategories · Product Families · Family Categories · Attributes · Finishes · Finishes in Answers · Global Product Materials · Mountings · Performance Data Import · Performance Data Disclaimers.
Quotes & sales
Set-up behind quotes and the sales team (mostly inside the Quote Console group): Quote Console (Account Managers, Sales Managers, Overages, Tax Rates, Payment Terms) · Commission Tiers · Commission Tiers Import · Volume Discount Groups · Volume Discount Tiers · Customers · Customer Positions · Customer Groups.
Pricing, BOM & Infor (specialist)
Pricing imports and the manufacturing/ERP tools: Price List Import · Infor Integrations (CPQ BOM Tool, Flat BOM Fresh/Cached, Margin Analysis Tool, BOM Calc Reports, SQL to Google Sheet Exports).
Settings & housekeeping
Settings · Store Information · Custom Settings · Live to Staging.
Exports & shortcuts
The last two groups in the menu aren't screens you edit: Diagnostics (Configurator Data Sheet, Meta Commerce CSV, Product list) downloads a spreadsheet of the whole catalog — see Export the configurator data. Syncing Helper holds a single entry, Global Options, which opens the shared options library behind the configurator — see How the configurator is built.
The core configurator items at the very top — Dashboard, Products, Calculations, Countries, Store Information, Settings, Main Categories, Subcategories — come with the configurator software itself. The rest are Beta-Calco's own screens. You don't need to tell them apart to use them.
Screens the software has but this site hides
The configurator is a webshop product, so it ships with online-shop screens — Orders, Shipping (shippers, zones, methods), Payment Methods, Notifications, Customer Fields, Templates and a second copy of Options. Beta-Calco quotes rather than sells online, so those entries are deliberately hidden from this menu.
You may still run into their names — in the configurator's own help, in a support conversation, or in an older note. If someone tells you to "check the Orders screen", they're describing a different installation: on this site, orders live in the sales-agent order tracking and in Infor, not in a menu entry here. Nothing is broken, and there is no setting for you to switch on.
What happens next
- Clicking a plain menu entry opens its list screen (all the items of that type) — see Add, edit, copy, or remove items.
- Clicking an expandable group shows its sub-entries; click one of those to open its screen.
Good to know
- Can't find something? Scan the buckets above, then scan the menu — entries are largely alphabetical within the custom section, so "Testimonials" is near the bottom, "About us" near the top.
- The menu stays put while you work, so you can jump between screens without losing your place.
- A few names describe a job, not a list — Commission Tiers Import, Price List Import, Performance Data Import, and Live to Staging run an action or an import rather than showing a plain list. Those have their own articles elsewhere in this guide.
Screens and labels can differ slightly between environments — if a label doesn't match what you see, check with your Beta-Calco contact.
